Anemonae chrysalis

2024

This parametric wearable sculpture embraces the full possibilities of intricate, computationally derived design, exploring what resin-based additive fabrication can uniquely offer: ultra‑fine lattices, internal cavities, and micro‑mechanical elements impossible by traditional methods. At its center, a small sphere is suspended inside a delicate cage—a movable element that shifts with motion, demonstrating the playful precision achievable only through 3D printing. Its morphology blends echoes of deep-sea organisms with speculative extraterrestrial lifeforms, evoking a creature emerging from the unknown, while its geometry expresses the tension between fluid organic growth and strict computational logic, reflecting the studio’s ongoing research into translating digital freedom into the constraints of the physical world.
